History of Department
The department runs under Science & Computer Science faculty. In order to develop logic & thinking ability among students the department opened its door in 1994 at B.Sc(C.S) level. In the 2015 Statistics Subject is introduced at F.Y.B.Sc. Department organizes a variety of Activities related to Subject & Social issues.
Aim
Motivate students an interest in statistical thinking.
Objectives
- To provide a foundation and motivation for exposure to statistical ideas.
- To know how to evaluate numerical facts.
