Welcome To B.B.A.(CA) Department

History of Department

Department of Computer Application is one of the pioneer in SPPU which runs B.C.A. since 2006-07  and M.C.A. (Commerce) from 2009 to 2016.  The nomenclature of this course has been change to B.B.A.(C.A.) i.e. Bachelor of Business Administration with Computer Application from 2015 -16

Aim

Create academically competent Professionals.

 

Objectives

  • To bring awareness about computer application to students coming from various faculties.
  • To encourage students to imbibe knowledge in management, Commerce and Computer.
  • To build a confidence among the students with latest technology.

Best Practices

  • Conducted well structured bridge course for FYBBA (CA) student to aware them with computer and able to handle it.
  • Remedial coaching is given to the student to improve their performance.
  • Extra lecture and practical?s conducted for average and below average student.
  • Five Question papers of each subject solve by all student in Term?I and Term-II.
  • Enhancing student knowledge by reading research papers and giving them to review about that.

  • Highly qualified staff members with experience in academic and industry.
  • Well equipped separate laboratory with internet facility.

Activities

  1. Department of Computer Application signed MOU with Quick Heal Foundation on June 2019 . Under that many activities done like Earn and Learn activity, Cyber Awareness Training program for school students, Content development for web portal , Online Examination etc
  2. 1st July to 10th July 2019 ,bridge course conducted for FYBBA (CA) students.
  3. On 5th September 2019 , teachers day celebration
  4. On 23/12/2019 guest Lecture Conducted for all BBA (CA) students Personality Development Skills.
  5. On 17/01/2020 guest Lecture Conducted for all BBA (CA) student?s topic Careers in Web Technology by Prof. Nilambari Moholkar , DIMR
  6. Parent meeting conducted on 27th January 2020.
  7. Remedial Coaching was Conducted in each semester for slow and average learner students.
  8. Guest lecturer conducted by Imperial school of Banking and Management studies on 27/02/2020 Changing face of Banking and Financial service Industry.
  9. TYBBA CA Student participated in the training conducted by NSDC for placement. (Training period is 120 hours).
  10. SYBBA CA and TYBBA CA students attended the guest lecture conducted by Commerce department on Career in HRM and Commerce.
  11. Students attended various pool campus , also participated various companies for placement like wipro , Global Steps Infotech , Yno Solution etc. Among them three students placed in Global Steps Infotech.

Student Achievements

  • PDEA Shree ? 2019 body building show SYBBA ( CA ) student Mr. Rohit Patil participated held in Annasaheb Magar College, Hadapsar.
  • Chinmay Bhave Participated in the Indian Cricket association, Deccan , Pune.
  • Amol Sable SYBBA(CA) student selected in Republic Day Parade, Delhi.
